TSET Healthy Living Program, Shawnee police partner on compliance checks to deter tobacco and vape sales to youth

SHAWNEE – The TSET Healthy Living Program in Pottawatomie County recently partnered with the Shawnee Police Department on visiting stores in Shawnee to check on whether their clerks would sell tobacco and vape products to underage persons. The legal age to purchase tobacco and vape products is 21, according to federal and state law.
