Rolling toward Halloween

Last Thursday night while rolling down the road with my infamous walker, I looked up to see a fast-moving bright white ball hurling through the northern sky. As it neared the horizon, the globe broke into two dazzling orbs before all disappeared behind the trees. A celestial surprise.

Jennifer Watson to perform in OBU Voice Recital Oct. 25

Jennifer Watson, mezzo-soprano, will return to Oklahoma Baptist University to perform a solo vocal recital Tuesday, Oct 25. at 7 p.m. The recital will be held in Raley Chapel’s Yarborough Auditorium on the OBU campus in Shawnee as part of the Division of Music 2022-2023 Artist Series. Bringing the best in the musical arts to the campus and Shawnee community, the Artist Series features national and international artists, brought together through the generous funding of the Max Brattin Endowment. The performance is free and the public is invited.
