Jennifer Watson, mezzo-soprano, will return to Oklahoma Baptist University to perform a solo vocal recital Tuesday, Oct 25. at 7 p.m. The recital will be held in Raley Chapel’s Yarborough Auditorium on the OBU campus in Shawnee as part of the Division of Music 2022-2023 Artist Series. Bringing the best in the musical arts to the campus and Shawnee community, the Artist Series features national and international artists, brought together through the generous funding of the Max Brattin Endowment. The performance is free and the public is invited.

Do-it-yourself devotees cite a desire to save money as their primary motivator when attempting DIY home improvements. A survey of more than 1,000 homeowners from the insurance provider Clovered found that 85 percent of respondents indicated a chance to save money as their top reason for attempting a DIY home improvement project.

We get it: changing the filters throughout your house isn’t the most exciting thing to do, and it probably isn’t something you think about very often, if ever! But if you let filters go too long without being cleaned or replaced, your appliances won’t work as well, and they might even stop working altogether. Filters keep air circulating.
