OBU Bison Stampede Registration Underway for ‘The Weekend’

Oklahoma Baptist University students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the community still have time to register for the 7th annual Bison Stampede 5K and One Mile Fun Run. The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 15, at 7 a.m. on the campus of OBU in Shawnee as part of The Weekend festivities. The cost is $10 and pre-registration is encouraged by Friday, Oct. 7.

Shawnee attorney to receive State Bar Award

James T. Stuart will receive the Neil E. Bogan Professionalism Award during the Oklahoma Bar Association’s 118th Annual Meeting, Nov. 2-4, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. The award is presented annually to an OBA member practicing 10 years or more who for conduct, honesty, integrity and courtesy best represents the highest standards of the legal profession. This award is one of 18 to be given to recipients from across the state during the three-day event. Award winners were selected by the OBA Awards Committee from nominations submitted by Oklahomans across the state.
