MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Robby Dewayne Tiger, age 41, of Seminole County, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Arson in Indian Country, punishable by up to life in prison. The Indictment alleged that on December 6, 2024, Tiger willfully and maliciously set fire to a dwelling, placing the life of a person in jeopardy.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The fate of passenger rail service between Oklahoma City and Fort Worth is on shaky ground after the Texas Legislature declined to fund that state’s portion.
Formal sentencing is scheduled in July for a defendant recently convicted by a Pottawatomie County jury on numerous drug charges, including aggravated trafficking in Fentanyl. Prosecutors said this case has helped remove a major Fentanyl supplier from the area, and the jury has recommended sentences totaling 77 years and payment of more than $600,000 in fines.
This week Earlsboro Police Department (EPD) Officer Loryn R. Appleton marked a milestone in her career, EPD Assistant Chief Jeremiah Chaney confirmed Tuesday, adding the department is proud of her accomplishments and graduation in becoming a licensed police officer.
