The community art gallery is presenting its third annual September Salon Art Show at the Shawnee Mall, which will feature area artists and artwork. Art-related activities are planned, as well as art demonstrations.
The Seminole State College Student Government Association has selected its officers for the 2022-2023 academic year. The Veterans of Foreign Wars offers student scholarships through Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy contests. Patriots Pen is open to 6th through 8th grade students enrolled, public, private or parochial schools in the U.S.
Shawnee Little Theatre presents its season opener, Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express” adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig. The classic murder mystery performs September 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m.
The Princeton Review has named Oklahoma Baptist University as one of the best colleges and universities in the western United States for the 18th consecutive year.
