According to NRC High School art teacher Bridget Moore, she wanted students to have the opportunity to display their artwork that had not been seen before.
Shawnee’s city sales tax collection report for August has been released; revenue increased compared to last year, but sinks below last month’s data. Jacob Bussell, assistant finance director, reports sales tax and use tax collections totaled $2,491,768.60 for the month — about $68,832.72 below last month’s figures.
