Investigation ongoing after man arrested in Tecumseh sexual assault cases dating back decades

TECUMSEH -A 62-year-old man is jailed in the Pottawatomie County Public Safety Center on a $500,000 bond on numerous complaints involving sexual assault, and authorities believe his victims go back as far as the 1980s. The Tecumseh Police Department requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate allegations of sexual assault.

Local BPA chapter honored among top students

Students from Gordon Cooper Technology Center Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter were among the nearly 7,000 attendees representing nearly 800 school chapters who attended the 2025 BPA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida, May 7-11. While in Orlando, students vied for top honors in BPA’s Workplace Skill Assessment Program competitions, which cover the areas of business administration; digital communication and design; finance; health administration; information technology; and management, marketing and communication.
