Tech center campus added in Shawnee

Oklahoma CareerTech’s technology center campuses increased by one last Thursday, when the State Board of Career and Technology Education approved a new campus for Gordon Cooper Technology Center. GCTC is expanding its aviation maintenance technology program and adding a fifth instructor, which allows the aviation maintenance site to be considered a full campus by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.

Road construction projects to impact Memorial Day weekend traffic

SSC Regents advance renovations and new academic program

The Seminole State College Board of Regents convened on May 15 to consider several items impacting campus facilities, academic offerings and local educational funding efforts. Following a financial update from Vice President for Fiscal Affairs Melanie Rinehart, SSC President Lana Reynolds provided a report highlighting campus activities, personnel updates and the latest developments in the legislative session.
