CVEC, WFEC deliver $2.4M to schools

Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) and Western Farmers Electric Cooperative (WFEC) have announced that more than $2.4 million was directed to schools across the region in 2024, furthering the coops' long-standing commitment to education, community development, and the success of Oklahoma’s youth. Schools in Pottawatomie County received a total of $765,788.37.

State Regents staff visit SSC to share student success initiatives

Seminole State College welcomed representatives from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education on May 5 as part of their statewide roadshow. Their goal is to provide essential information and resources to key student-facing staff members on college campuses, including registrars, academic and faculty advisors, admissions counselors and concurrent enrollment personnel, to ensure they are equipped to support student success.
