On Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Community Renewal of Pottawatomie County is throwing its first Block Party event of the season in Woodland Park, at 100 E. Highland.

PRAGUE - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a 10-year-old boy was killed last week while driving a 2023 Yamaha UTV and a 12-year-old passenger was critically injured.
Oklahoma Baptist University’s McCabe School of Education is expanding its graduate-level offerings with two new 18-hour certificates designed to serve both new and experienced teachers seeking advanced credentials. The first of the two, a certificate in Curriculum and Instruction, will launch this summer.
Voters in Pottawatomie County are reminded to keep the integrity of the election system in mind, when going to the polls May 13. While ballot “selfies” or taking photographs of a marked ballot are legal, voters may not share or distribute the image through social media or by any other means while inside the election enclosure.
