Voters can request absentee ballots by March 17 for April 1 elections

Voters in Lincoln County who want absentee ballots mailed to them for the April 1 Stroud and Wellston Schools BOE General Election, Wellston Bond Issue and Municipal Statutory Election for City of Stroud, Town of Tryon, Warwick and Wellston should apply now, County Election Board Secretary Dena Jo said today. Absentee ballots are available to all registered voters, provided they are eligible to vote in the election requested.

Lincoln County elections: Voter registration deadline is March 7

Friday, March 7, is the last day to apply for voter registration to be eligible to vote in the April 1 Stroud and Wellston Schools BOE General Election, Wellston Bond Issue and Municipal Statutory Election for City of Stroud, Town of Tryon, Warwick and Wellston, Lincoln County Election Board Secretary Dena Jo Bromley said. Bromley said that persons who are United States Citizens, residents of Oklahoma, and at least 17 ½ years old are eligible to apply for voter registration.
