Late-night crash, semi fire reported in Turner Turnpike construction zone near Wellston

WELLSTON – On January 14, 2025, at approximately 10:12 p.m., the Wellston Fire Department was dispatched to a crash involving a semi-tractor-trailer at mile marker 157 eastbound on the Turner Turnpike, located within an active construction zone. This call followed an earlier crash response at approximately 8:35 p.m.
