Snow was falling and accumulating Thursday as the Shawnee and Tri-County area experienced its first winter storm for this winter.
During the last Shawnee City Commission meeting, held on Dec. 16, City Attorney Joe Vorndran shared a PFAS (Per- and Poly-Fluoroalkyl Substances) litigation update to the board and residents.
Recently, the Shawnee City Commission OK'd a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the City of Shawnee and the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) related to the provision of overdose education, Naloxone distribution training, and overdose reversal kits.
