Michael Lynn Petty Sr. of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed on June 8, 2022 at the age of 64. He was born January 22, 1958 to William and Mable Petty in Ada, Oklahoma. Michael said “There is no point in living, unless you are having fun”, and he did just that.
On June 10, 2022, Steven Michael Dodson, Sr., “Steve”, died in Shawnee, Oklahoma after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was 59 years old.
Joyce Evelyn Krick, age 95, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at home with her daughter, Joye, and son-in-law Dennis Mahoney in St. Charles, IL. We would like to thank all of the fantastic Doctors, nurses and aides at the Delnor and CDH hospital facilities, Covenant Living at the Holmstad, Michaelsen Health Center and Kindred Hospice staff for their special care and compassion to make her comfortable in her final days before returning to the Lord.
Keylee Nicole Johnson, 22, of Shawnee, left earth early on Friday morning June 10, 2022. Keylee blessed her parents, Mark Johnson and Carol Swift-Johnson, with her birth on March 27, 2000. Keylee graduated from Oklahoma Connections High School and went on to Oklahoma Baptist University, Oklahoma University and then Rose State College. She was working to get her RN degree with hopes of becoming a doctor in the geriatric field.

Patsy Ruth Lakin passed from this life on June 9, 2022. Patsy was born December 23, 1946 in Bakersfield, CA to Hilbert and Pearl Whited. She attended Bethel High School. Patsy married Lindell Lakin on December 7, 1975 in Shawnee, OK. She worked as an insurance agent until she retired, but her children always saw her as an expert mom.
Shirley Sue Sigman of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, went peacefully to be with the Lord on June 9th, 2022, at the age of 82. She was born on March 6th, 1940, to William Tolly and Martha Jane (Milburn) Reid in Trousdale, Oklahoma. After moving to California for a time, Shirley came back to Oklahoma and graduated from Shawnee High School.
Betty Jean (Arms) Young, 92, resident of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at her home. She was born October 27, 1929 to Ezra Arms and Letha (Boettler) Arms in Pearson, Oklahoma.
