Tyler Grady Nix age 38, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in Shawnee, OK. He was born on December 26, 1983 in Ada, OK to Don Nix and Cindy Nix-Hall. He married Jasmine Nix on October 4, 2014 in Seminole, OK.

Nancy Marie Beck was born on September 17, 1960 to Stanley George Brunk and Tilda Mae Brunk. She passed away on May 3, 2022 at her son’s home surrounded by family.

Phyllis Gale Johnson Hilton was born January 22nd, 1935, at 1:40 a.m. to Melva and Cosette Johnson in Prague, Oklahoma. She died on April 30th. She moved with her family to Shawnee at the age of 7. Phyllis had 2 brothers, Paul Johnson, older brother who preceded her in death while killed in action in the Korean War and younger brother Melvin Johnson of Shawnee. Phyllis was a virtuoso pianist, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Hubert Henry Hasbell, born July 24, 1941, left our Earthly world to be with our father in Heaven on May 2, 2022. Hubert was a hard working man who put his family and friends first.

Opal Dinwiddie, 87, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, in her home in Shawnee, OK. She was born to James DeMarcus and Artha Lee Sledge on May 24, 1934, in Eldorado, OK.

Earl Lee Gilmore, 78, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away on April 26th of 2022. Earl was born on March 27, 1944 to Ruby Jewell and Albert Mathis Gilmore in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Monica Lois Stuart Mullins laid down to rest on April 26th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Many knew her better by the names Mono or Vronc.

Freddie Gene Rutherford, 78, was a lifelong resident of Shawnee, OK. He was born to Isabelle Mills and AI Rutherford on May 4, 1943 and passed from this earth on April 25, 2022. Fred was a 1961 graduate of Shawnee High School and was honored to be inducted into the Shawnee Football Hall of Fame this last year. Fred was a devoted family man and football lover. In his younger years, he enjoyed track, basketball, softball, and bowling, while in his later years he took to golf as his sport of choice and enjoyed laking, waterskiing, and traveling to many different countries with his wife, Karen. Fred spent a few years working at Fred Jones Ford, as well as Tinker Field, until he bought his first business. In 1969, he opened and operated Fred’s 66 for 8 years until he moved across the street. In 1974, Fred opened the doors to Fred’s Tire and Battery, where you could find him 6 days a week for the next 48 years until just one month before his passing.

Cecil Laurence Hillerman, 96, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 25, 2022. He was born in Sacred Heart on January 11, 1926 to Benedict and Josephine (Richards) Hillerman.
