JD Butler

JD Butler was born 11-18-38 to Earl Lee Butler & Mandy Mae (Estep) Butler in Seminole, OK. After attending school in Seminole, he moved to CA where he lived most of his life as a truck driver. He retired due to an injury after 35 yrs on the road. He moved back to Prague and spent many happy years hunting and enjoying time with friends. In his final years, he moved back to CA to be near his daughters, sons-in-law and grandson. JD gave his heart & soul to God the 11th day of October 1987, being baptized in the First Assembly of God church. JD is preceded in death by his parents, daughter (Rosie), son (Billy Earl), grandson (Peter Joseph), brothers (Jack & David Lee) and sisters (Noma, Leona & Georgia). JD is survived by his daughters, sons-in-law and grandson: Brenda & Eric Price, Bobbi & Peter Gallagher, and Ethan Gallagher. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, Friday April 1, 4-8pm. Graveside service will be Saturday April 2, 10am at Little Cemetery.

Wilma Maxine Brooks

TECUMSEH - Wilma Maxine Brooks, age 95, of Tecumseh Oklahoma passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at The Regency Skilled Nursing in Shawnee Oklahoma. Maxine was born March 2, 1927, in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to Norpha Montgomery and Violet Olympia (Houtz) Montgomery, the third of eight Children.

Donald Wayne Warren

SHAWNEE - Donald Wayne Warren, born 5-16-66 died on 1-24-22 after a short battle with Covid. He is survived by his wife Tabitha, sisters Donna Schuermann and Brenda Farmer, daughter Nela Hartsock, and son Jake Warren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Shawnee Rescue Mission, an organization Donald felt strongly about. Thank you.

SHAWNEE - Miriam McPherson (Cheeseman) Clouse, 101, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, crossed over to her next life on March 23, 2022. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service may be scheduled at a later date.

STONEWALL, OK - Services for Maurice “Wayne” Case, 77, of Stonewall, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Stonewall First Baptist Church, Rev. J.P. Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Underwood Family Cemetery.

Fred Stubblefield, Sr.

EARLSBORO - Fred Stubblefield, Sr. 90, of Earlsboro, born on January 11, 1932, died peacefully in his sons arms after a long sickness on March 15, 2022. He met Barbara Vint on a blind date. They married Sept. 17, 1952. Fred was in the navy 4 years. They had 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 9 (5th generation) great, great grandbabies. Fred and Barbara also Raised Melissa Stubblefield, their first Grandchild and took in their grandson, Richie Jones when he was 14. Fred lived on Stubblefield farm where he was born. Preceded in death by his daughter Vicki Stubblefield of San Francisco 7 years ago. Daughter-in-law Kelly Stubblefield of the same home, 4 years ago. The love of his life, Barbara died 17 days after Kelly. His sister Louise Lindsey died soon after our girls. He also lost many brothers and sisters,that were born before him. Fred worked lithograph in Stockton, California for 25 years and retired at 49 when they were temporarily shut down. Then moved back to Stubblefield farm in Earlsboro to care for his father who lived until he was 99 years old.
