Advice: Ways Shawnee parents can protect children from online risks

Imagine someone has taken a picture of your child without them knowing and posted it online. Or posted negative comments about them on social media simply for having played a bad game. And imagine if messages like these went viral across their school, neighborhood or, for that matter, the country or world. October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month and National Bullying Prevention Month, and now is the time to raise awareness and identify tools that parents can use to help safeguard their kids against online risks.

Generally Speaking: 10 Most Wanted Campaign targets Oklahoma fugitives

This month my office launched a new campaign to help capture some of Oklahoma’s most wanted fugitives from justice. Easily accessible on the Attorney General’s website at Oklahoma.gov/oag, this 10 Most Wanted list is created to assist the incredible work of our partners in the U.S. Marshals Service and other federal, tribal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies. It is vital that the individuals on this list – all of whom pose serious threats to public safety – be held accountable for their alleged crimes.
