A letter from Shawnee Animal Rescue Center

Dear editor, To friends and supporters of Animal Rescue Center (A.R.C.): Last week a nine-week old puppy was rescued off I-40 and taken for medical attention. The puppy seemed to be lifeless, was diagnosed with parvo and infested with worms. After spending a week in the hospital, the puppy is on the mend, and will be adopted out through ARC thanks to the compassion of the person who found him, to Patty Forehand who took the call, and ARC donations. Rescues such as these would not have been possible without donations and support from the public since the inception of ARC.
