Pryor edges Shawnee despite 15 strikeouts from Anderson

By Brian Johnson Sports Editor bjohnson@news-star.com In a game which featured 31 strikeouts, the Shawnee Wolves came up short by a 2-0 count to the Pryor Lady Tigers Thursday night in the Shawnee Tournament at the Ballfields at Firelake. Pryor pitcher Brooklyn Stohler fired a one-hit shutout, struck out 16 and walked only two in earning the victory while Shawnee hurler Anneca Anderson surrendered just three hits, walked just two and struck out 15.
