Asher baseball player signs with Southwestern Christian University
Asher's Parker Wood, 19, recently signed his letter of intent to play baseball with Southwestern Christian College. Wood has attended Asher School since the eighth grade and has played high school varsity since his freshman year.

SSC Softball and Baseball conclude postseason play
Seminole State College’s softball and baseball teams concluded their postseason runs in the NJCAA Region II tournaments over the weekend. The SSC softball team, the top seed in the South-Central District Tournament, opened the event in Piedmont, Oklahoma, with wins over NOC-Enid (2-1), NOC-Tonkawa (3-1) and Baton Rouge (3-1).

Three area athletes claim state track and field titles
ARDMORE - Three area individuals – North Rock Creek’s Caleb Hawkins, Tecumseh’s Kiara Stallin and Chandler’s Eli Smithey – earned state championships in their respective events and classes at the State Track and Field Meet Saturday at Ardmore High School. Hawkins won the long jump with a leap of 23 feet, 2.5 inches.
