DALE – Karsen Griggs had a 6-for-7 day at the plate and Kinsley Hill was solid from the circle oin both games Tuesday as the Dale Lady Pirates opened the 2022 fast pitch softball season with a 15-0, 9-1 doubleheader sweep.
BETHEL ACRES – Annie Compton went 3-for-3 from the plate with one RBI and recorded the pitching win Tuesday as the Bethel Lady Wildcats rallied to beat Roff 11-5. Compton scattered 11 hits, allowed no walks and struck out seven in pitching all seven innings.
MAUD – Aubrey Williams fired a three-inning no hitter while Janlee Impson and Reese Street collected two hits each Tuesday as the Maud Lady Tigers crushed New Lima 14-0. Williams struck out seven and gave up only one walk in earning the pitching victory.
The North Rock Creek Lady Cougars opened up their season Tuesday night with a district victory against Jones.
