Bouchum shines in debut as Fire routs Lightning 139-97

Ke’Tarrious ‘TK’ Bouchum made the most of a first impression Friday night at Firelake Arena. Playing in his first game for the Potawatomi Fire, Bouchum was ultraefficient, going 11-of-14 from the floor, scoring a game-high 25 points, grabbing seven rebounds, handing out four assists and registering one steal in a 139-97 Potawatomi victory over the Little Rock Lightning in The Basketball League (TBL).

Calumet shuts out Asher in first round of Class B State Tourney

Right-hander Brett Reed limited Asher to two hits over five innings as the Calumet Chieftains shut out the Indians 9-0 Thursday night in the first round of the Class B State Baseball Tournament at Shawnee High School’s Memorial Park. Reed struck out four and walked only two through the first five frames while Carson Cooper and Talon Arnold each pitched one inning as the Indians managed just three hits the entire night.
