Ke’Tarrious ‘TK’ Bouchum made the most of a first impression Friday night at Firelake Arena. Playing in his first game for the Potawatomi Fire, Bouchum was ultraefficient, going 11-of-14 from the floor, scoring a game-high 25 points, grabbing seven rebounds, handing out four assists and registering one steal in a 139-97 Potawatomi victory over the Little Rock Lightning in The Basketball League (TBL).
Playing their second game in as many nights, the Potawatomi Fire received 29 points from Chuck Guy and 21 from newcomer Ke’Tarrious ‘KT’ Bouchum in rolling to a 125-111 triumph over the Enid Outlaws in The Basketball League (TBL) Saturday night at Firelake Arena. The win came 24 hours after the Fire blitzed the Little Rock Lightning 139-97 on Friday night.
MUSKOGEE - Back-to-back pitching gems from Cason Coomer and Caleb Looper were enough to spark the North Rock Creek Cougars to their first-ever trip to the State Baseball Tournament on Friday in Class 4A area play.
DALE – Jack Rooker pitched a one-hitter over four innings, Matthew Sharp had a 3-for-3 effort from the plate and Jackson Harris homered Friday as the Dale Pirates clinched a 2A-1 Regional Championship with a 10-0 trouncing of Rejoice Christian in five innings. The win advances Dale (28-4) to the Class 2A-1 State Tournament later this week.
Chance Griffin is the only softball coach North Rock Creek has had since the high school opened. The Campbell triplets have been a huge part of the program for four of those years.

DALE – The pitching arms of AJ Carpenter and Briar Turman stifled the opposition Thursday in the first two games of a Class 2A1 regional. Carpenter tossed a three-inning no-hitter as Dale blanked Caney Valley 13-0 while Turman allowed only three hits over five innings as the Pirates plastered Coalgate 12-2.
COLLINSVILLE – The Shawnee Wolves saw their season come to a conclusion at a Class 5A baseball regional on Thursday.
Right-hander Brett Reed limited Asher to two hits over five innings as the Calumet Chieftains shut out the Indians 9-0 Thursday night in the first round of the Class B State Baseball Tournament at Shawnee High School’s Memorial Park. Reed struck out four and walked only two through the first five frames while Carson Cooper and Talon Arnold each pitched one inning as the Indians managed just three hits the entire night.
CASHION – The Meeker Bulldogs saw their season come to an end at a Class 2A-1 regional after being no-hit by Cashion hurler Kyle Yowell on Friday.
