TULSA – Six Shawnee errors led to four unearned runs for Tulsa Bishop Kelley Tuesday night as the Comets held off the Wolves 6-4 in a Class 5A district baseball clash. The two teams split the two-game series after Shawnee edged Bishop Kelley 2-1 on Monday night behind Kasen Rogers’ pitching gem.
DALE — Right-hander JB Leaver twirled a five-inning five-hitter Tuesday as Dale racked up an 11-3 victory over the Oklahoma City Broncos. Leaver, who threw 76 pitches, 52 of which were strikes, whiffed six and didn’t surrender a walk.
MEEKER — A nine-run fourth inning was just enough to give Bethel a 15-12 triumph over Meeker Tuesday. Bethel scored a single run in the first and five runs in the second in the five-inning matchup.
OKMULGEE — Prague tallied six runs in the top of the first inning on the way to a 17-7 kicking of Okmulgee Tuesday. While scoring in five of six innings, Prague accumulated 12 hits to go along with nine errors by the home team.
