PURCELL — Down 9-6 entering the bottom of the seventh inning, Purcell scored four runs to rally past Bethel 10-9 Tuesday. Purcell combined three walks, a double, two singles and a wild pitch for four runs without an out being recorded in the seventh.

The Shawnee Wolves were in the hunt for a much-needed district victory Monday night and senior righthander Kasen Rogers obliged. Rogers allowed just three hits and three walks while recording 10 strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings as Shawnee edged Tulsa Kelley 2-1 at Memorial Park’s Ed Skelton Field.

INOLA — Freshman pitcher Cason Coomer twirled a route-going eight-hitter Monday as North Rock Creek upended Inola 5-3. Coomer, who threw 107 pitches and 65 for strikes, had four strikeouts and three walks.
PRAGUE — Three two-out runs in the bottom of the sixth inning propelled Prague to a 4-2 triumph over Okmulgee Monday. With the score knotted at 1, Edgar Miranda stroked a run-scoring single to make it 2-1 and Ethan Rich followed with a two-run double to give Prague a 4-1 lead.
SEMINOLE — The Chieftains of Seminole faced little opposition Monday, sweeping Classen SAS, 14-1, 14-1. Both games went just 2 ½ innings due to run rules.
RIPLEY — Ady Custer swatted two home runs and accumulated six runs batted in Monday as Prague drilled Ripley 12-2. Custer launched her assault in the first inning with a two-run home run after Demi Manning’s RBI triple.
