Meeker swept by Cascia Hall
TULSA – The Meeker Bulldogs, plagued by 16 errors on the day, dropped both ends of a doubleheader to host Cascia Hall, 7-1 and 11-1, on Wednesday. In the opener, Meeker managed just four hits – one each from Ty Gabbert, Braden Harris, Blake Weeks and Mason Fullbright.

SPERRY – The Prague Red Devils were on the short end of a baseball doubleheader with Sperry on Wednesday, 17-2 and 13-1. In the opener, Prague had just three hits – one each from Eli Greenlee, Trip Davis and Connor Davis.
Oklahoma Baptist splits with Southwest Baptist
The Oklahoma Baptist softball team took game one of its non-conference matchups with Southwest Baptist 5-4 before falling 10-2 in the series finale on Wednesday night. GAME ONE OBU (18-14) charted two consecutive innings with two runs in the inaugural game, receiving a couple of hits from three different batters.

Dale trio garner weekly honors
Dale High School slow pitch softball sluggers Madison Conley and Karsen Griggs have been selected as Shawnee News-Star Tri-County Co-Female Athletes of the Week for March 14-19. Connor Kuykendall, also from Dale and member of the Pirate baseball team, has been named Tri-County Male Athlete of the Week.
