CHANDLER – The Chandler Lady Lions are headed to the Class 3A State Tournament after sweeping a Super Regional series from Jones by identical 11-1 scores on Thursday.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Howe’s Kadynce Delt held the Dale Lady Pirates to three hits and Alexia Scarberry cranked out a three-run homer in the fifth inning as the Lady Lions posted a 3-0 shutout Thursday in the first round of the Class 2A State Fast-Pitch Tournament on OG&E Field at Devon Park in the ASA Hall of Fame Softball Complex. Delt struck out 13 Dale batters and walked just two in pitching all seven innings.

LINDSAY – The Prague Lady Red Devils saw their season come to an end Wednesday after dropping a pair of Class 3A Super Regional games to host Lindsay.

MOORE – Breeze Higdon, Daley Lang and Khloe Jones each knocked in a run while Boo Herber and Maxtyn Motley combined for a six-hitter as the Dale Lady Pirates upended the Moore Lady Lions 5-1 Monday in a tune-up game for the Class 2A State Tournament.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist sophomore Lauren Hanley was voted as the Great American Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

McLOUD – Fourteen cross runners from Prague and McLoud – eight on the girls’ side and six on the boys’ side - placed in the Top 25 of the McLoud Blackberry Run last Saturday.
