MOORE – The Tecumseh Lady Savages combined for 36 hits over two games as they defeated host Southmoore 10-7 and held off Cache 14-11 in slow-pitch softball action on Thursday. Tecumseh 10, Southmoore 7 Cadence Leba and Jessi Hull cranked out one home run apiece as the Lady Savages piled up 17 total hits.
ASHER – Beau Willis had a 3-for-4 outing with three doubles, two runs batted in and three runs scored as the Asher Indians upended the Ada Cougars 11-6 on Thursday. Willis also pitched three innings in relief as he gave up only one hit.
SEARCY, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist picked up a massive series win over Harding on Friday, winning twice at HU Softball Field.
The Chandler Lady Lions held off the McLoud Lady Redskins 7-6 Friday to capture the title of the 66 Conference Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament.
Cruz Winsett tossed a four-inning, three-hitter Friday as the Shawnee Wolves drubbed Del City 11-1 in four innings during play in the Bill Tipton Classic.
KIOWA – The Dale Lady Pirates had a perfect 7-0 run in winning the Kiowa Tournament, including a tough 9-8 decision over Caddo in the title game on Friday.
SULPHUR – Molly Campbell’s bases-loaded walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh on Friday lifted the North Rock Creek Lady Cougars to a 17-13 triumph over the Silo Lady Rebels to win the Sulphur Tournament.
More than 20 teams competed in the Oklahoma Baptist University Bison Invitational track meet Tuesday. North Rock Creek boys placed fourth overall and Shawnee came in at 10th.
ADA – Bailey Tucker had a 2-for-3 performance from the plate with a triple, three runs batted in and two runs scored Wednesday as the Bethel Lady Wildcats routed the Ada Lady Cougars 13-1 in three innings.
