Seminole State College Head Baseball Coach Mack Chambers was recognized for his 200th career win at the helm of the Trojans on April 7 at Lloyd Simmons Field. During a pregame ceremony, Trojan sophomores Kendall McDowell of Dallas, Texas, and Wilfred Gonzalez of Miami, Florida, presented Chambers with a commemorative engraved bat signed by the 2025 Trojan Baseball Team.

North Rock Creek hosted Shawnee and Am-Po in a slow pitch round robin at the Ball Fields at Firelake Monday. The Lady Cougars won both of their games and Shawnee dropped a pair in the program’s first year to compete in slow pitch softball.

TECUMSEH – Cadence Leba and Katie Overstreet each cranked out a home run Monday as the Tecumseh Lady Savages edged the Dale Lady Pirates 9-8 in a three-way slow-pitch event with McLoud. In the other two contests, Tecumseh downed McLoud 9-1 and Dale drilled McLoud 18-1.

Bethel hammers Harrah 14-4 BETHEL ACRES – Bailey Tucker and Alexis Williams collected two hits apiece while Kinley Anthony, Lilly Ingmire and Frost Peltier knocked in two runs apiece as the Bethel Lady Wildcats ripped the Harrah Lady Panthers 14-4 in 3 ½ innings. Tucker went 2-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and two runs scored while Williams was 2-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored.


Prague rallies past Bristow 9-6 PRAGUE – The Prague Lady Red Devils rallied with six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and upended the Bristow Lady Pirates 9-6 Monday in slow-pitch softball action. Kacey Cantrell went 2-for-2 from the plate with a double, two runs batted in and a run scored for Prague.

ALVA – There were some tense moments, but Oklahoma Baptist ended up winning both Great American Conference games at Northwestern Oklahoma State on Monday. OBU was victorious by 4-3 and 5-4 tallies and improved to 25-14 and 18-5 in the league.

Shawnee picked up a soccer sweep of Tulsa Hale without surrendering a goal in either game. Gemma LaPlant scored half the goals as the Lady Wolves won 10-0 in a game that ended about 30 minutes early due to the mercy rule and Camden Sateren returned from an injury to score both goals for the Wolves in a 2-0 win.

The Shawnee Wolves scored in 10 of the 11 innings they went to the plate of a doubleheader Tuesday as they swept the Tulsa Memorial Chargers.
