North Rock Creek’s Slayton Graham and Rody Wright recently won the Junior Division of the OKHSFISHING Tournament at Lake Texoma with a stringer of 17.87 pounds. Rody won the big bass with catch of 4.77 pounds as they competed with more than 100 teams.
Shawnee High School senior Gracyn Simpson was selected to the 2025 East Girls All-State Swimming Team, it was announced. At the recent Class 5A State Swim meet, Simpson won three gold medals and one silver.
Supreme Nation, a team of sixth and fifth grade girls from the Shawnee area, posted a perfect 9-0 record in winning a state championship. Supreme Nation went 6-0 in their league and then won three more games at the Oklahoma State Invitational Basketball Tournament.

GLENPOOL – Jace Plumb pitched a five-inning six-hitter and had a 3-for-4 performance from the plate with two doubles, five runs batted in and a run scored as the North Rock Creek Cougars crushed host Glenpool 23-2 Tuesday to complete a two-game series sweep. Plumb struck out five and walked just one as the two Glenpool runs were earned.
ADA – Oklahoma Baptist fell short offensively to the Tigers as a late East Central University run outdid the Bison efforts. Oklahoma Baptist was overtaken by the East Central offense in the bottom of the eighth with a big five-run inning to subdue the offensive efforts for OBU, which closed out the midweek with a 9-6 final in favor of the home team.
Caleb Looper ran out of pitches one out short of a complete game in North Rock Creek’s 11-5 district win over Glenpool Monday. Looper retired the first two hitters in the seventh inning with an 11-4 lead.
CHANDLER - Dale is the No. 1 team in 2A so it isn’t surprising that the Pirates won five-straight games to win the Mark Howard Tournament in Chandler.
