Conley fires four-hit shutout as Cougars clip OKC Broncos 1-0 CHANDLER – Hasten Conley fired a four-hit shutout as the North Rock Creek Cougars edged the Oklahoma City Broncos’ Homeschool squad Friday in Chandler High School’s Mark Howard Tournament. Conley struck out nine and allowed only two walks.

NOBLE - With every shot that sailed just high, a little wide or was saved by the Bethany goal keeper, it seemed as if Shawnee was getting closer and closer to breaking through with the goal that would win the Noble Rose Rock Classic Championship. But the Wolves could never find the net.

The Shawnee High School girls’ tennis squad captured three duals last Tuesday, defeating Claremore 3-1 and winning by tiebreakers over Elgin and Classen SAS after the meetings played out to a 2-2 draw in an East/West Quad.

Lady Savages knock off Yukon, shut out Davenport OKLAHOMA CITY – The Tecumseh Lady Savages cruised to three victories Friday in the Devon Spring Showdown. Tecumseh upended Yukon 9-4, shut out Davenport 8-0 and downed Mountain View-Gotebo 6-2.

Chickasha shuts out Shawnee 12-0 CHICKASHA – Shawnee was held to one hit as Chickasha piled up 11 in claiming a 12-0 shutout of the Wolves Saturday. Case Childers (1-for-1) had the lone Shawnee hit.

DALE – Kinley Patten hit a three-run homer in the second inning and doubled once while going 3-for-4 with five runs batted in and three runs scored Thursday as the Dale Lady Pirates smashed Yukon 16-5 in 4 ½ innings of slow-pitch action. Knocking in two runs apiece were Breeze Higdon (1-for-1), Daley Lang (1-for-2 with a run scored) and Kaylyn Solis (1-for-2 with a run scored).

Five members of the Shawnee High School boys’ basketball team achieved 5A-3 All-District recognition for the 2024-25 season. Senior guard Daytain Patton was selected to the 5A-3 All-District Second Team while juniors Aidon Siqueiros and Edan Litherland were picked for the 5A-3 All-District Third Team.
