ASHER – The Asher Indians overcame a 15-13 deficit with a five-run sixth inning to defeat Weleetka 18-15 Monday in a wild high school baseball clash.
CHANDLER – The Chandler Lions pounded out 18 hits over two games as they swept a baseball doubleheader from the Millwood Falcons on Tuesday, 17-4 and 17-2.

TULSA – Shawnee managed just three hits in two games as Tulsa Bishop Kelley swept a baseball doubleheader from the Wolves, 15-0 and 11-0, on Monday.

TECUMSEH – The Harrah Panthers jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held on for a 6-4 decision over the Tecumseh Savages on Monday.

JENKS - Nothing was easy for Shawnee Friday. The Lady Wolves struggled to score, but despite their shooting woes, Shawnee was up by eight with six minutes left.

After back-to-back championships in The Basketball League (TBL), Potawatomi Fire Head Coach Mark Dannhoff felt that there could be some improvement on the defensive end of the floor when putting together the roster for the 2025 season. Well, if 14 blocked shots and 16 steals fit your fancy, you should be happy as Potawatomi plastered the Western Oklahoma Skykings 116-81 in the Fire’s home opener Saturday night at FireLake Arena.

HENNESSEY – The North Rock Creek Lady Cougars earned a convincing 63-40 victory over Blanchard on Thursday but saw their season come to an end Friday with a 64-45 setback to Holland Hall in Class 4A Area Tournament play.

ADA - Bethel’s basketball season came to an end Thursday with a 44-31 loss to Marlow, but the Wildcats showed how far they had come this season under Coach Caleb Fulton. Losing seniors Roger Brooks and Austin Brown will be tough, but the young Wildcats have a lot to look forward to next season.
