LAWTON – Oklahoma Baptist (10-10) lost both games of a doubleheader on Wednesday against Cameron University (9-9) at McMahon Field. The Aggies won two close affairs, 4-3 and 9-8.
Three Bethel wrestlers compete in Class 4A State
Bethel’s three competitors at state last weekend were Dixie Holliday, Paxton Shultz and Emzley Miller. Holliday placed third at 105 pounds on the girls’ side and Shultz finished second at 120 on the boys’ side.

OKLAHOMA CITY – McLoud High School crowned two individual champions and had two runner-up finishes as the Lady Redskins claimed the Class 5A girls’ state title on Saturday.
Trojans split doubleheader at Battle at Bricktown

WEATHERFORD – The Oklahoma Baptist University Bison pounded out 20 hits, nine of which went for extra bases, in slamming Southwestern Oklahoma State 19-7 in seven innings Friday to open a three-game Great American Conference baseball series.
OBU takes two of three games from SWOSU in softball series
In a closely contested battle at Bison Softball Park, Oklahoma Baptist got some timely defensive plays and crucial homer from Greenlee Wells to hold off Southwestern Oklahoma State, 3-2, on Friday in Great American Conference play. The Bison won their fourth straight in the process and improved to 9-7 overall and 4-0 in the GAC.
North Rock Creek baseball team off to a 1-1 start
The North Rock Creek Cougars got off to a 1-1 start to the baseball season after edging host Harrah 4-3 in the season opener on Saturday while falling to Bishop McGuinness 9-5 at home on Monday.
