Basketball preview: Lady Wolves seek to take that next step in 2024-25

By Brian Johnson Sports Editor bjohnson@news-star.com After coming within a game of reaching the Class 5A State Tournament during the 2023-24 season, the Shawnee Lady Wolves look to take that next step this year. Coach Wendi Wells’ Shawnee squad, 17-10 a year ago, flourished many times due to a suffocating defense.
