Seminole State College has released its annual progress report on the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) Dreamcatcher grant, which concluded in 2024 after seven years. Shawnee residents help with Operation Christmas Child

TULSA – Booker T. Washington rolled to a massive 36-11 lead through one quarter and coasted to a 109-59 triumph over the Shawnee Wolves Tuesday night.

Primary elections for federal, state, and county candidates are scheduled for February 11 across the state. On Election Day, the polls will be open from 7 a.m.

Candidates interested in filing for municipal office in six Pottawatomie County municipalities will file Declarations of Candidacy beginning 8 a.m. Feb. 3.
