The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden welcomes Pando, a female, 7-month-old bobcat, to her home in the newly renovated Cat Forest habitat. Found as a kitten in Coalinga, California by a member of the public, the bobcat was cared for by two California-based rescue organizations—Pacific Wildlife Care in Morro Bay and Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue in Petaluma—before coming to the OKC Zoo.

The State Election Board completed its routine, statutorily-mandated, biennial voter list maintenance on Friday, January 17 and Tuesday, January 21. The process removed 129,680 inactive voter registrations and 2,242 duplicate voter registrations from Oklahoma’s voter rolls.
JENKS – Gracyn Simpson had a third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle and ended up fifth in the 100 freestyle to lead Shawnee’s effort in the Jenks Invitational Swimming Meet on Saturday. Simpson clocked in at 26.24 seconds in the 50 and posted a time of 59.13 seconds in the 100.
It was a rough Day 2 for the Shawnee Lady Wolves and Wolves as they suffered defeats in their own Shawnee Invitational on Friday. In the girls’ semifinal bracket, Coweta clipped Shawnee 55-49 while Mustang topped the Wolves 47-42 in boys’ round-robin play.
