Good morning, Shawnee! This weekend is a special one for my family, as my husband’s parents are celebrating their 70th Anniversary! Wow, 70 years! They were just 19 and 18 when they wed and have weathered many ups and downs over the past 7 decades. A big “Congratulations” and “Job Well Done” to them! Thank you, Granny and Papa Joe for honoring God in your marriage and prioritizing your family! Did you enjoy the beautiful snow last week? We don’t get snow like that very often here in Oklahoma, so I hope you captured some moments and made a few memories! Our parks were very lovely with a covering of snow.

The initial reaction of a young staffer asked to pursue the question was the boss was making some strange reference to the Civil War.

The story’s told of the Sunday School teacher who was explaining all the different animals Noah brought on the ark, so she asked her class to guess the animal she was describing: “It’s small, has choppy teeth, pointy ears, and a long, bushy tail. What is it?” She was confused when her class sat dumbfounded until one little girl sheepishly said, “Teacher, we know that every answer in Sunday School is ‘Jesus,’ but that sure sounds like a squirrel.” Truthfully, there’s a reason MOST of the answers to the questions of the Bible are “Jesus,” and that’s because the Bible isn’t a book about a generic god, but everything centers on, points ahead, and points back to Jesus the Christ.
