Lundy Baker, 79, of Macomb, passed from this life on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, in Macomb.

He was born May 28, 1936, in Pike County, Kentucky, to Henry and Myrtle Baker.

Lundy grew up in Grundy, Virginia.

He married Clara Mae (Anderson) in Belleville, Michigan, on Sept. 28, 1968.

Lundy has lived in Macomb since 1974 and worked at Shawnee Milling Company for 22 years.

Lundy has spent his time riding horses, working with cattle, and hunting. The highlights of his life have been his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Henry and Myrtle Baker; sister, Rhody Dameron, brothers, Paul Baker and Prater Baker; and step-son, John Gilliam.

Survivors include his wife, Clara of the home; two step-sons, Barry and Patti Gilliam of Oklahoma City, and Kernie and Jackie Gilliam of Gladwin, Michigan; step-daughter ,Sherry (Gilliam) Moore of Macomb, step-daughter in Law, Penny Gilliam of Macomb; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters; many other relatives; and numerous friends.

Graveside service will be noon, Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Mars Hill Cemetery in Macomb with Pastor Chad Brodrick from First Assembly of God in Tecumseh officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
