PENSACOLA, Fla. — Chiles High School (Tallahassee, Fla.) trailed just once Monday in defeating Shawnee 8-3.

The Wolves, who will play four games in Florida as part of their spring break, led 1-0 after scoring in the bottom of the second inning.

Chiles immediately tallied four runs in the third, then added two-spots in the sixth and seventh innings.

Shawnee tallied single runs in the fifth and sixth innings.

Chiles outhit Shawnee 10-8. Neither team committed an error.

Shawnee, 4-1, will continue its spring play Tuesday opposite Presbyterian, a defending state champion out of Tenn.
