Cynthia K. Dockrey King was born May 30, 1962, to Larry and Glenda Dockrey of Shawnee. She passed away April 30, 2016.

Cynthia Kay Dockrey King was born May 30, 1962, to Larry and Glenda Dockrey of Shawnee. She passed away April 30, 2016.

Cindy graduated from Shawnee High School and then graduated from Rose State College before acquiring a job with the United States Department of Agriculture. Cindy was a “survivor” of the Murrah Building bombing in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995.

Cindy enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. She loved animals, flowers and sunny beaches. But most of all she loved her family and friends.

Cindy is survived by her parents, Larry and Glenda, Garry and wife Angela, sister Sherry Haslam, nieces Summer and Dusty Seaborn, Amanda and Dixon Bates, Kayla Meyers, and Kendra Haslam, great nieces Mylee Jones and Memphis Jones, Kynslee Sebren and Piper and Marly Mullendore. She is also survived by her Grandmother Geneva Davis 95 of Shawnee, cousins Dace, Jack, Scott and Luke Dockrey and their families.

Preceding her is death were her grandmother and grandfather Madge an Dute Dockrey and grandfather Leonard E. Davis.

Service will be at 1 p.m. May 6 at North Ridge Church of Christ, 1001 E. MacArthur, Shawnee. Lunch will be served.
