TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police say a 25-year-old woman has died after being intentionally struck by the driver of a sport utility vehicle.
Sgt. Dave Walker says the woman was walking with her boyfriend along a southeast Tulsa street when the man's former girlfriend drove up and argued with them, then the woman and her boyfriend walked away.
Walker says the ex-girlfriend then drove off the road, went airborne then landed and struck the victim, dragging her beneath the vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital where she later died. Her name has not been released.
Walker says the former girlfriend was later arrested at her home and is being held on a first-degree murder complaint.
