Audrey Louise (Metcalf) Sales, 88, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, in Midwest City.

Audrey Louise (Metcalf) Sales, 88, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, in Midwest City.

She was born June 20, 1928, to Homer and Clara Belle (McAlister) Metcalf in Asher.

Audrey was raised in Asher and was a graduate of Asher High School.

She married A.T. Sales on Oct. 14, 1950, in Oklahoma City, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 2005. After marriage, she started her family in Shawnee and lived in Perkins before settling in Tecumseh where she has since lived.

Audrey loved cooking, baking, gardening and taking care of her family; they were the focal point of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.T. Sales; parents, Homer and Clara Belle Metcalf; and sister, Peggy Stover.

Audrey is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Cathy and Dan Hilgert of Stonewall, Oklahoma, and Debbie Sales of Tecumseh; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lori Sales of Stillwater; two grandchildren, Jeremy T. Williams and Jeffrey Adam Sales; two great-grandchildren, Chloie Sales and Eli Sales; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Keith Pitts of Choctaw; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Margaret Metcalf, Canadian, Oklahoma; and loving friends and extended family.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 9, at Cooper Funeral Home.

Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, at Wanette Cemetery Chapel with Voneta Sales officiating. Burial will follow at Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
