Bennie L Langley, Sr., 78, of Newalla, Oklahoma, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at his home.

Langley was born Feb. 14, 1938, in Dallas, Texas, to Loren Bennie and Jeanette (Jolly) Langley.

He graduated from Garland High School, Texas; Rose State College and OMBI Seminary School. He served in the Air Force and Coast Guard. He married Gloria Jean Martin and worked in construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and two grandsons: Bennie L. Langley, III and Daniel Harris Fool.

Langley is survived by his wife, Jean Langley; two daughters: Teresa Langley and Kristina Langley; four sons: Chuck Langley, Bennie Langley, Jr., Dave Goodrick and Melvin Wood; and grandchildren: Liberty Langley, Kassidy Lopp, Jacques Lopp, Robert Goodrick, Jennifer Goodrick, Lauren Langley, Austin Langley, Dillion Langley, Shawn Myers, Dillion Myers, Jacob Vaughn, Shawn Vaughn, Von Vaughn, Casandra Langley, Shawn Stamps, Terry Stamps, Brianna Middleton, Brenden Smith, Keisha Rigdon-Shelley, Rustin Shelley and Kyndra Shelley.
