Angels are out for the annual Salvation Army Angel Tree program.

There are 684 children registered in Pottawatomie County and Salvation Army Captain Jamie Clay stressed the value of the program.

“The importance of the communities support is vital to the success of the 2016 Angel Tree,” Clay said. “For every child adopted you are making dreams a reality.”

Donations should be dropped off at the Salvation Army, 200 E. 9th Street by Dec. 9.

The Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas for children in need. For more information on Angel Trees, call the Shawnee Salvation Army, 275-2243.
