Marcelyn Janelle Sparkes, 62, was freed from her pain Nov. 17, 2016, and on to be with her Savior.

She left behind a husband, Max Knowlton, stepdaughter Meri Knowlton of Shawnee, two sisters, Jackie Sparkes of Edmond and Carolyn Bearden of Denver, Colorado, brother, Gaylon Sparkes of Edmond, and family and numerous friends.

She graduated from Garber High School in 1972, then moved to Red Lodge, Montana, where she lived for more than 20 years. Moving back to Oklahoma in the 1990s, she worked for Sooner Brick, Oklahoma City, and met her husband, who owned Affordable Precast in Shawnee, finishing her life helping him with the business.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m., Dec. 10, at The New Convent Church in Edmond. Later, her ashes will be taken back to Montana, via her request, and put into the Yellowstone river, where she plans on going around the world before the Rapture.
