The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center has forecast an Enhanced Risk of Severe Weather for our area today.  Rotating Supercell thunderstorms are expected to develop and affect our area this evening- primarily after dark. The greatest threats from these storms will be large hail and flooding rain. Isolated small tornadoes with these thunderstorms are possible, however.

Because of the heavy rain threat, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Pottawatomie County from 7 p.m. Friday (Today) through 7 a.m. Sunday.
