Mary Janice (Bost) McGraw, 92, of Tecumseh, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Magnolia, Texas.

She was born Nov. 29, 1924, to Lloyd Bost and Rosa (May) Bost in Tecumseh. Mary Janice was raised in Tecumseh. She was a graduate of Tecumseh High School and is an alumni. She was a Charter Member of Order of the Rainbow Girls Assembly #147. At the age of 20 she received her Majority Certificate.

In 1948, she married Millard Jean McGraw in Dallas, Texas.

She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church and Rock Island Women’s Service Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jean, her parents, her sisters LaVerne Dunn and Margaret Termin, and her brother J. L. Bost.

Those left to cherish her memories are her family; her son and daughter-in-law, Monty and Donna McGraw, their children, Michelle and her husband James Bausch, Christopher McGraw, Phillip McGraw, Kirk and Kelly Shaffer and their children Kandi, Sean, Gabrielle and her husband Nicholas Hein; her daughter Linda and son-in-law Keith Johnson, their children, Shanen and her husband Marcus Hajdik and their son Ethan; her son Kyle Reed and his wife Kari and their daughters Olivia and Piper; her nephews Roger Michael Bost and Richard Bost, and her best friend forever Betty Black.

Mary Janice was cremated according to her wishes in Magnolia. She requested no services, and only asked that her plaque be updated on her plot next to Jean McGraw in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in Shawnee.
