MCLOUD – The McLoud baseball team put the hurt on Seminole with 10-0 and 9-3 wins at their Class 4A bi-district games Thursday at McLoud.

Wyatt Olds pitched the complete game in the opener, giving up four hits, striking out eight and walking six for the win on the mound. Logan Long was handed the loss for the Cheiftains.

Olds went 3-for-4 with a double to lead the Redskins' bats and Zach Green was 2-3 with two singles.

Four Seminole players got one hit each, led by Jordan Rodriguez who went 1-3 with a double.

Josh Maddox struck out 11 and gave up four hits for the win in the second game of the day while Cal Howard was handed the loss.

Zac Green went 3-4 at the plate to lead the Redskins and Olds was 2-5 with a double. Howard went 2-3 with a double to lead the Chieftains.

The Chieftains complete their season with a 9-18 record.

McLoud moves to 15-16 on the season and advances to regionals Thursday at Weatherford. Times and opponent are expected to be announced Monday.
