MEEKER – The Meeker Bulldogs were able to manage two second half touchdowns but were unable to catch up to Christian Heritage, losing 36-14 Friday evening.

Christian Heritage came out firing in the first quarter as they scored on their first possession of the game when Camden Cargill hooked up with Zach Hale on a 34-yard touchdown pass.

On the Crusaders' second possession, Rueben Stewart took the handoff and punched it in from one yard out. Cargill hit Hutch Hendrickson on the two point conversion and Christian Heritage took on early 14-0 lead.

Cargill continued the Crusaders' scoring assault when he found Brudge Ballard on a 55-yard completion.

The combination of Cargill and Ballard hooked up again in the second quarter on a two-yard pass. Cargill and Hendrickson connected on the two point conversion and Christian Heritage took a 28-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.

On the Crusader's first possession of the second half, Cargill hooked up with Bullard for their third touchdown. Reuben Stewart ran in the two point conversion extending the Christian Heritage lead to 36-0.

Meeker's first touchdown came on a 65-yard pass from Jones to Caden Wolford. Brett Roach ran in the two point conversion as Meeker trailed 36-8.

Roach would make things respectable, scoring on a two-yard run with less than two minutes on the clock.

Jones eight of 18 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown. He also tossed three interceptions in the loss.

Roach led the Bulldogs in rushing with 40 yards and a touchdown.

Wolford led the Bulldogs with two receptions for 74 yards and a score.
