Hanaa Saidi, daughter of Shawna Saidi, Shawnee, will be installed as Worthy Advisor of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG), Shawnee Assembly, on January 13, at 11:00 at the Shawnee Masonic Lodge.

The theme for her term will be, "Rainbow Will Be With You Wherever You Go!" since Rainbow has brought her friends from all around the state.

During her term, Saidi will be working closely with Community Renewal of Pottawatomie County as her service project, volunteering herself as well as other members of Shawnee Rainbow Assembly.

Saidi is a freshman at Shawnee High School and is a very proud member of the SHS Pride of the Pack, where she plays the Alto Saxophone. She is also active in the Drama Club, and is a Student Council representative.

IORG is a community service organization for girls ages 11-20 that contributes to teaching young ladies how to become active members of the community, responsibility, and gaining leadership and communication skills.

Saidi has been a member of Shawnee IORG since December of 2016.
