Dathan Ray Lane took his first breath on Aug. 5, 1961. He drew his final in the dark early hours of Feb. 3, 2018. In the hours, days and years between, Dathan laughed, loved, lost, and lived life to the beat of his own drum.
Dathan spent his youth in McLoud and Meeker, resided in various areas around the state for many years, until finally settling in Asher.
Preceding Dathan in death are his parents Floyd Robert Lane and Ivadene Kimmet Lane Crawford, and very recently his big brother David Robert Lane.
Dathan leaves behind his sons Damon Lane of Holdenville, Dustin (Shandi) Barnard of Woodward, and John Duello of McLoud; grandsons Julian and Asher Ray Lane; his sisters Iva Lane McAdams of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Reatha Lane Green of Meeker; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and his fur buddy Molly.
Family and a few close friends will gather privately to remember Dathan.
